Under the party’s scheduled programmes of deputing its Ministers to meet the public and the party activists in each district to listen their grievances and help in mitigating the same, Minister for Health & Medical Education Bali Bhagat held open darbar at Rajouri on Monday alongwith MLAs Ch. Qamar Hussain and Ravinder Raina, MLC Vibodh Gupta and the senior officials of Police and Civil administration as well as various departments.
During his day long visit to Rajouri, Bali Bhagat also held separate meeting of the health department and visited the District Hospital for on the spot inspection of the facilities being provided to the patients.
During the public darbar, a large number of people drawn from different sections of the society and hailing from various areas of Rajouri district shared their problems with the minister related to different departments and also putforth their suggestions for reaching maximum population to help them in availing the benefits of welfare schemes launched by the government at the Centre and in the state.
Bali Bhagat, while addressing the public darbar, said that the BJP has chalked out a schedule of programmes after the shifting of darbar move to Jammu, wherein every minister will be visiting district allotted to him or her with an objective of direct interaction with the public and get the ground information related to the development works, welfare schemes and the response of the people. He said that the state’s coalition government has completed just one and half year and it is indeed a matter of pride that historic decisions have been taken for equitable development of all the three regions of the state and an era of development has started. He said that the BJP is concerned about fulfilling its poll promises and the same is clear from the fact that good governance has been introduced and not a single case of corruption seen.
MLAs Ch. Qamar Hussain and Ravinder Raina and MLC Vibodh Gupta also spoke in the public darbar and briefed about various works being undertaken in their respective areas.
BJP Addl. Office Secretary Rajinder Gupta, BJP Rajouri District President Dinesh Sharma and the district presidents of opposition parties also had meeting with Bali Bhagat and expressed their views on the problems being faced by the people and their immediate requirements.
