BJP State President & MLA, Sat Sharma (C.A.) took review meeting of ERA, PHE, Sewerage and other public concern departments to take stock of the pending development works being done by them in Jammu West Assembly Constituency.
Sat Sharma, while addressing the meeting, took serious note of the pending works in various parts of Jammu West Assembly Constituency. He asked the officials for the reason of delay in the execution of all the works. He asked the officials of these departments for the threadbare details of all the works being done by their departments and the report of the completion of all the projects.
He discussed the reasons for the delay in the execution of water pipes, sewerage and drain works and the afterwards restoration works on the roads and drains. He said that the delay in the restoration works including Macadamization, tiling etc. is also causing much inconvenience to the general public in day to day life, so it should be executed as early as possible. He also remarked that the Rupees 65 Crore water pipe project is still incomplete and pulled the authorities for the same. He cautioned them and asked them to hasten the works in view of the rainy season and ever-increasing public inconvenience. He asked the authorities to work upon the whole plan before 20th September as sevice to the public should be the top priority on their working list.
While addressing the departmental officials, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to the development of the Nation and has worked very seriously and thoroughly on the projects like “Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan” in order to pave way for “New India”. He said that under the present regime of PM Modi, no public representative and department can imagine to rest without completion of assigned task of achieving the desired progress with in a set time frame. He also said that the BJP is working for the development of State keeping in view the long term consequences of every policy. While interacting with the officials, he gave a message to the general public, to not to throw solid waste in the drains, as they block the normal path of liquid flow, thus choking all the drain system of the locality. He also informed that the Chief Minister of State will be invited for the discussion and inauguration of the various projects along with the MLAs of city.
