BJP State General Secretary, Harinder Gupta visited the Akhnoor area to take the meeting of District team, Morcha Presidents, Mandal Presidents and Mandal General Secretaries in the ongoing schedule of Pravas by the State General Secretaries in the various regions of State. State Vice-President Bharat Bhushan, MLA Akhnoor, Rajeev Sharma, MLA Chamb, Dr. Krishan Bhagat, State Additional Office Secretary Suresh Sharma and District President Manmohan also accompanied the State General Secretary in the meeting.
Harinder Gupta, while addressing the leaders present in the meeting, sought the details of organizational and developmental programmes organized in the District during the last year. He said that the BJP is celebrating the birth centenary year of great ideologist, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhayay, who worked throughout his life to raise the voice of the unheard and to bring about the social and political reform in the Nation, without caring for his personal needs or health.
Harinder Gupta, promoting the two way interaction in the session, stressed for regular sittings and meetings in between all the office bearers of the party. He also detailed about the forthcoming programmes of the party to be organized in District. He urged the party activists to take and celebrate the 6 party programmes at every booth in area like a festival, while working for the benefit of common masses. He asked that every activist must listen to “Mann Ki Baat” in public gathering. He also sought the details of others programmes like tree plantation, Swacch Bharat, Health Camps etc. being done by them.
Harinder Gupta asked the party leaders to plan efficiently for the forthcoming programmes of the party, by taking into confidence all the senior leaders of the party. He told them that the key to success lies in the execution of step by step, all the points discussed in the meetings earlier. He also prompted them to start preparing for the general Parliamentary elections of 2019, by addressing to every problem of public and taking every beneficial scheme of Government to them. While asking them to extend their reach to every single house of the area, he asked them to address the public issues at the war level so as to mitigate any type of suffering being face by the common masses.
Rajeev Sharma assured the State General Secretary that every possible effort will be done to take all the official machinery to the doorsteps of the common masses, so that every administrative and other works of public could be accomplished.
Dr. Krishan Bhagat said that, being the elected representative of the public, it is the responsibility of an MLA to attend to every need of the public. He also said that he is working with the mantra of “Nation First” in his mind.
