The day is observed on the occasion of the birth day of the former Prime Minister Shri Atal Behari Vajpayee who set very high standards of governance during his tenure as the Prime Minister of India. The members of ward No.2 were present on the occasion to felicitate all those govt.servants who excelled in their field of public service.
MLA Rajesh Gupta was the chief guest on the occasion and was accompanied by distt.president Baldev Singh and Gen.Secretary Vinay Gupta.
Rajesh Gupta was also accompanied by social Activist Dinesh Khanna,Rajinder Sikka, Yogesh Ji,Rajeev Bhardwaj and Subhash Baru.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that we have been shown a path of Good Governance by Shri Atal Behari Vajpayee Ji and now it is our duty to emulate the high standards of governance and bring all the administration within its ambit.Rajesh Gupta said that Atal is the ideal of many leaders of our generation.
Distt.president Baldev Singh said that sushasan diwas needs to be observed at all the places and districts and the contours of Good Governance to be percolated at all levels.
