A function was organized in connection with the birth anniversary of Pt.Deen Dayal Upadhaya at Chand Nagar in ward no 19 .
 MLA Jammu east Rajesh Gupta was the chief guest on the occasion.A large number of people including party workers participated in the function.
The highlight of the function was the speech of the PM Modi that he had made yesterday while addressing the BJP National  Council Meeting at Calicut beach .The speech of the PM was played out for the benefit of the people who had assembled on the ocassion in large numbers. In the speech the PM had given a dressing down to the Pakistan for its continuous sponsorship of terrorism in India and other parts of the world.The people present on the ocassion were highly satisfied with the strong response of the PM to Pakistan and also urged the government to give a more befitting response to the terror sponsoring country.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the ocassion said that the speech of the PM Modi has sent shivers down the spine of Pakistan. He said that Pakistan has been sponsoring terrorism in Kashmir valley for the last three decades and our valiant security forces have given innumerable sacrifices for the protection of our motherland. As a result of India’s astute diplomacy the state of Pakistan stands completely exposed and isolated  before the world today. In case Pakistan does not mend its ways it would face further humiliation in the comity of nations.
Rajesh Gupta also paid glowing tributes to Pt.Deen Dayal Upadhaya on the ocassion.
