Vice-Chairperson of Jammu and Kashmir Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes & Backward Classes Development Corporation Limited, Balbir Ram Rattan, convened a review meeting of the Division as well as District Office, Jammu, of the Corporation.
While reviewing the functioning of Jammu District, he sought detailed information about the physical and financial achievements made during the last financial year as well as during the first Quarter of the current financial year. Besides, he took a review of the recovery position of the Jammu District during the First Quarter of the financial year 2017-18.
Joginder Paul, District Manager, Jammu, apprised Vice-Chairperson that a total number of 08 loan cases were disbursed involving a loan amount of Rs. 9.50 lakh during first Quarter of the current financial year. He further apprised that a total amount of Rs.20.67 lakh has been recovered during the said period from Jammu District.
Taking note of the recovery position, Vice-Chairperson Balbir Ram Ratan, directed the concerned Field functionaries to put more efforts in achieving the desired results in the recovery of loans. He further stressed upon the need of motivation as well as mobilization of chronic defaulters so that they get encouraged to repay the outstanding loans. He also stressed upon the field functionaries for speedy disposal of pending loan cases and effecting recoveries of loan advanced.
Balbir Ram Rattan reiterated maintenance of punctuality in the office and desired that there should be no slackness in timely disposal of loan cases. He further enjoined upon the field staff to remain stead-fast in the discharge of their allotted duties and there should be no complaint from public.
