Basohli Paintings workshop by INDIAN ART CENTER for ten days which was inaugurated by State President BJP Sat Sharma (C.A) was concluded. On this occasion Dr. Nirmal Gupta Chairperson State Social Welfare Board was chief Guest and Guest of Honours were Sh. Ajay Pargal Senior BJP Leader & Ishant Gupta State Secretary BJP Youth. The organizers of exhibition were Poonam Bhalgotra chief organizer, M.K. Wadhera Organizer artist. On this occasion the guests were welcomed by organizers by presenting beautiful Paintings and on this occasion Chief Guest distributed participation certificates among participants and do appreciate them. Speaking on the occasion, Dr.Nirmal Gupta congratulated M.K. Wadhera for his very good initiative to promote and teach students about basohli art. She added that these types of talent will be promoted on higher scales. Nirmal Gupta Said that she herself in her young age also willing to learn this art but her family not allow her to learn due to many difficulties like transportation, finance and others but she motivated the students and said them that they feel themselves very lucky that they all have resources and most importantly support from their family to learn art. She request all students to take it serious and kindly promote this art on a very larger scale. M.K. Wadhera said that he used to teach all the students about how to make paintings. He added that Ch. Lal Singh is the Chief patron of Indian Art Centre. Wadhera thanked Sat Sharma (CA) State President BJP & MLA Jammu West for providing painting kit costing near about ten thousand to a talented student who could not afford for it.
