Balbir Ram, Vice Chairperson on the Board of Directors of J&K Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes Development Corporation, took review of various schemes being implemented by the Corporation, at Corporation Head Office.
R.K.Pandita, Managing Director, of the Corporation apprised Vice Chairperson about various schemes which are being implemented by the Corporation, for socio-economic and educational upliftment of target groups and various bottlenecks faced in the implementation of these schemes, especially due to non-availability of State Government Guarantee with various National Level Corporations for releasing fund.
Vice Chairperson, assured full support to the Corporation in taking up these issues at appropriate level with the Government. He asked the officers of the Corporation to work for the target groups with extra zeal and dedication in a friendly atmosphere so that the benefits of these schemes percolate to the target groups in a time bound manner, making it succinctly clear to the Corporation functionaries that the benefits of various scheme implemented by the corporation should reach the deserving persons of target groups expeditiously.
Vice Chairperson, lauded the efforts being made by its management for rejuvenating its perception among the target groups and emphasized that maximum funds should be availed from various National Level Corporations of Government of India for the benefits of the SCs, STs, BCs, notified minorities and handicapped. He also asked the corporation to put extra efforts to recover the maximum outstanding.
Financial Advisor/CAO, Divisional Manager, Jammu, Manager Projects, Manager Finance, Manager Recoveries, District Manager, Jammu of the Corporation attended the meeting.
