Continuing the ongoing program of Samrasta Divas, Janipur Mandal of Jammu West organized an impressive program of cleaning the statue of Mian Dido at Amphalla Chowk. State President BJP and MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) was called upon as the Chief Guest in the program and he led the team of BJP activists and cleaned the statue of Mian Dido located at Amphalla Chowk in the presence of dozens of people including local residents and political activists of the area.
The program was organized under the leadership of Ex Corporator Ward 17 Balwan Singh and Ward President Onkar Singh Boss.
Addressing the gathering, Sat Sharma said that sanitation is one of the major concerns in today’s age and being a responsible citizen of this great nation, it becomes our prime duty to initiate and contribute in the noble cause in order to build a clean aura around.
He said when great personalities like our Prime Minister Narendra Modi hold brooms and clean their surroundings, it sends a message at global level that cleanliness is the dire requirement in todays world and every person irrespective of its position or post has to contribute to build its nation clean and green.
The public also hailed the step taken by the party and believed that such things will definitely send a strong message not only in the State but whole nation and every person will come forward to contribute in the noble cause so that public could be benefited overall.
