Member Parliament Rajya Sabha, Shamsher Singh Manhas reiterated that Central government led by Prime Minister Narinder Modi and BJP is committed for social upliftment of the society. He was addressing while kick starting the development work near Shri Bawa Kailakh Dev Mandir at Thathar Bantalab on Monday. MP(RS) has provided Rs 5 lac from his MPLAD fund for the construction work.
Member Parliament (RS) Shamsher Singh Manhas today kick started the pending construction work of community hall near Shri Bawa Kailakh Dev Mandir on Monday. Manhas said this community hall will provide shelter to devotees coming from different parts of state and country to pay obeisance to the local deity. This place is known for communal brotherhood as both majority and minority communities have faith in Bawa Kailakh Dev Sathan. The management of Bawa Kailakh Dev Parbandhak Committee is developing this place so that local tourism in this area should be projected.
Shakti Dutt Sharma, general secretary of parbandhak committees said that the construction of this community hall shall render great help to followers of the devsthan. On the request of the committee, MP (RS) allocated Rs 5 lac for construction of pending work of community hall from his MPLAD fund.
Mahant Rohit Shastri said that many places in Jammu province has religious tourism potential and for promoting religious tourism, basic infrastructure would be provided to the devotees. He also extend gratitude towards MP (RS) Shamsher Singh Manhas for providing financial assistance for development work
On this occasion Bawa Kailakh Dev Parbhandhak Committee president Ram Pal Seth, Yash Seth, Rajinder Singh Chib (BJP Kissan Morcha state president), Sunil Dutt (Raka) general secretary,Ved Parkash, Ashok Sharma, Rajat Soodan, Rajeev Soodan, Raguvir Singh, Sahil Seth, Angrez Singh, Dr.Varun, and other committee members were also present.
