J&K BJP conducted a meeting of its State Office Bearers, District Prabharis, District and Morcha Presidents at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Meeting was chaired by new State President of BJP, Sh. Ravinder Raina (MLA) along with Minister for Housing & Urban Development, Sh. Sat Sharma, MP Sh. Jugal Kishore Sharma, State General Secretary (Org.) Sh. Ashok Kaul, State General Secretaries Dr. Narinder Singh, Sh. Pawan Khajuria and Sh. Harinder Gupta.
Meeting witnessed the threadbare discussions on various organizational matters, various programmes conducted by the party recently as well as on the forthcoming party programmes. The senior leaders entrusted with the job of successfully implementing various programmes in connection with the completion of 4 years of Narendra Modi led Central government also presented the blueprint for the same.
Ravinder Raina, while addressing the meeting, stressed on the importance of sincerity to the job assigned for a great success. He talked about the implementation of “Gram Swaraj Abhiyaan” for addressing the issues of villagers. He prompted all the senior leaders to put in extra efforts for ensuring the implementation of public welfare schemes and said that this will enhance the interaction with the common masses and the booth level workers of the party. He also said that BJP will never compromise on its basic ideology of “Nation First, Party Second and Self Last” and is known in public for its Nationalistic stand at all costs.
Sat Sharma, while speaking on the occasion, compared the party activists to the soldiers dedicatedly working for the party growth. He emphasized the importance of Pravas among the senior leaders of the party so as to increase the outreach of party to ground level activists. He said that as 26th May marks the completion of 4 years of successful and eventful Modi led government in the centre, the countdown for the elections of 2019 has well begun on cards.
Ashok Kaul emphasized the importance of various programmes undertaken by BJP leaders at various levels. He said that all the programmes in the present dispensation have been initiated with a particular eye on increasing the standard of living of the neglected and downtrodden sections of the society. He prompted the leaders to make a thorough plan for cross checking the availability of centrally sponsored public welfare schemes to the targeted population. He also sought the detailed report of programmes form the district presidents and district incharges.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, Yudhvir Sethi, Dr. Narinder Singh, Aseem Gupta, Rajinder Sharma and Jugal Kishore Gupta also spoke on the occasion.
Pawan Khajuria conducted the proceedings of the programme.
