BJP delegation visits Nowshera, Sunderbani, assures action

To end the deadlock created due to the agitation by people of Nowshera and Suderbani Sub-Division for the district status, BJP delegation comprising of senior BJP leaders led by its State President & MLA Sat Sharma along with MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, Minister for Health & Medical Education Bali Bhagat, Minister for PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control Sham Choudhary, Minister for Animal, Sheep Husbandry & Fisheries Abdul Ghani Kohli, BJP State Vice-President Yudhvir Sethi and MLA Ravinder Raina met with the Nowshera Union Committee. Officers from the state machinery including DC and SSP were also present in the meeting.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Nowshera residents are demanding district status so as to have direct and easy access to the various administrative facilities for the last 8 days. The demand has been fully endorsed by the local BJP unit with its MLA Ravinder Raina extending support to the cause.

Sat Sharma while addressing the Nowshera Union committee comprising of Beopaar Mandal, Sanatan Dharam Sabha and other social organization assured the protesting masses that their demands will be worked by BJP at the party level within 10 days. He assured them that they must look out for positive outcome till 10th of March 2018. Sharma said that BJP has always taken up public concern issues with cent per cent dedication. It is the first and foremost duty of BJP to address people’s aspiration and that’s the sole reason for continued win of BJP in all the major states of Nation, he added. He assured of equal and justified treatment to all the regions similar to Kotranka.

Bali Bhagat also assured the protesting people that their demand will be taken up by the concerned BJP legislators in the State Cabinet to bring out favourable outcome. He said that their demands regarding Additional Deputy Commissioner and others will be appropriately addressed by the BJP with no favoritism.

Meanwhile the BJP leaders also conducting a public meeting with the local people at Sunderbani while assuring them that their all the genuine demands will be addressed promptly.
