BJP for immediate supply of ration to migrants

An Executive body meeting of BJP Displaced District was held under the chairmanship of its president Chand Ji Bhat here today. The meeting while expressing grave concern over the problems faced by displaced people due to non availability of ration has made an appeal to Minster of CAPD and Director CAPD to take immediate steps in ensuring ration supply of last three months to migrants. The meeting also expressed its dismay that the migrant families putting up at holy township of Katra have not been given ration for last five months and demanded the release of same without any delay. The meeting said the previously charter of demands submitted to government will be pursued vigorously. The meeting said Pandits are ready to return to Valley provided they are settled at a one place and nothing less than that was acceptable. The members criticized the statement issued by some organizations regarding return and also protested over change of name of religious places of Hindus in Valley. TN Bhat, B B Gosani, J L Pandit, Sharda Nandan Bhat, R K Koul, Sweety Koul, P L Dhar, C L Koul, K K Daftri and others attended the meeting.
