To strengthen the Booth Level Committees ahead of Panchayat Elections in the state, J&K State BJP held Booth Sammelan of Mandal Katra falling under Reasi district, which was chaired by BJP State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul along with MoS Ajay Nanda, Prabhari District Reasi & State Secretary Rajinder Sharma and other senior leaders of the party.
While addressing the Sammelan, Ashok Kaul said that the present endeavor to hold the polling booth Sammelan has the deep message of showing the booth level activists their importance and respect in the organization to boost their public working within their specific regions. He said that this fact particularly gains importance in our organization, where every single grass root level activist is viewed as the face and pillar of the party devoted selflessly to the welfare of the society keeping the aim of “Nation First, Party Second and Self Last”.
He said that every BJP activist has a duty to serve the society with a passion having only the thinking of doing something good for the country and for this specific purpose every effort needs to be done to strengthen the party. He said that the BJP National President Amit Shah has called for celebrating minimum 18 programmes on every Polling Booth which also includes “Mann Ki Baat” acting as a direct tool to link with the PM of the Nation, which will help to acquaint the general public with the party ideology and the numerous public welfare schemes initiated by the Modi Government specifically for the upliftment of the living standards of the last person standing in the row.
Ajay Nanda threw light on the achievements of State Government, while saying that BJP is only focussed for the welfare of needy and poor population at all levels. He added that the residents of state are witness to the unprecedented growth that was not done in last 70 years.
Rajinder Sharma prompted the activists to work with utmost dedication for the organization as only the committed cadre with high confidence level will lead to the success of party in every poll battle in state.
State Executive Members Sheel Magotra, Shashi Gupta and Ramesh Sharma, District General Secretaries Joginder Singh and Satpal Sharma, Mandal President Ajay Baru, Mandal General Secretaries Shiv Jamwal and Rajinder Mengi were among the prominent leaders present in the Sammelan.
