BJP Jan Sampark Yatra enters Marh

After covering all the Panchayats of Raipur-Domana assembly constituency, BJP “Jan Sampark Yatra” entered Marh constituency, where it was received and later flagged by local MLA Sukhnandan Kumar alongwith State Secretary & District Prabhari Aseem Gupta and District President Omi Khajuria in presence of a large number of party activists and the local inhabitants of Chanu Chak. It passed through Shamachak, Kahanachak, Jaswan, Halqa Marh, Flora Nagbani, Daltreyal, Gangwan, Parwan and Sangrampur Panchayats.

Sukhnandan Kumar, while addressing the public gatherings at a number of places during the yatra, said that during the last two and half years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken a number of initiatives aimed at bridging the gap between the rural and urban population and many more projects are in the pipeline which will change the face of the Indian villages. The best road connectivity and provision of electricity, clean drinking water, proper health care facilities are being monitored from time to time so that the farmers too have access to them.

Aseem Gupta said that the PM has set a target to double the income of the farmers in next few years and provide them basic quality facilities at their door steps. The PM Fasal Bima Yojana is one of the achievement of Modi government, which itself speaks of the concern of NDA government towards the farmers. The yatra is being undertaken to highlight the pro-farmer, pro-rural population programmes and policies of the government at the Centre. He said that a farmer is totally dependent on his agriculture produce for survival and Modi government has focused on provision of immediate and adequate compensation in case of loss of crop due to any natural calamity.

BJYM State General Secretary Vikas Choudhary, Incharge Yatra Capt. K.C. Sharma, Mandal President Babu Ram, Sarpanch Harjeet Singh, Mahila Morcha Local leader Anita Langeh, Block President Joginder Sharma, Sarpanch Prem Singh, Ashok Mahajan, Mulkh Raj, Ex-Sarpanches, Ex-Panches and prominent activists of the party accompanied the yatra.
