BJP (J&K) Kashmiri Displaced District led by its President Chandji Bhat held one day District Working Committee meeting at Jammu which was spread over a number of sessions. BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma addressed the concluding session while MLC Surinder Ambardar, Senior leader Chander Mohan Sharma, District President Chandji Bhat, District General Secretary P.L. Dhar addressed other sessions.
Sat Sharma, while addressing the meeting, said that the growth and development of the BJP in the state is really appreciable. He recalled the sacrifice of Dr Shyama Prasad Mookerjee, who laid down his life for the cause of nation. He recalled achievements of Narendra Modi-led NDA Government and hoped that it will write a new chapter in the progress of the State. He also spoke about the setting up of 10 Departments and 10 Projects, which have been established to involve the party activists and mobilize the public opinion in favour of the party by educating them on pro-people policies of the government. He asked the working committee members to get themselves acquainted with the philosophy of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayaya and share it with the masses while celebrating the birth centenary year celebrations.
Surinder Ambardar inaugurated the occasion with lightning the lamp and addressed the gathering that working committee is very necessary for achieving the objectives of the party. These meetings are very helpful to strengthen the party and in such meetings workers express their problems before experts and try to find out the ways for solving the problems.
Chandji Bhat received feedback from the Mandal and Booth Presidents. He shared his experiences and taught them the methods of working in their areas.
P.L. Dhar read the resolution which speaks that ways and measures should be taken to solve problems which Kashmiri displaced people face in camps or outside the camps, employees of PMs Package or non PMs package, filling up the remaining 4200 posts announced by the previous govt., compensation to overage persons, protection to Kashmiri Hindus and Sikhs in Kashmir Valley residing there even after exodus.
Chander Mohan Sharma discussed the present situation in Centre and State. He assured gathering that Modi govt. could overcome all the evil designs of negative forces. He added workers should proudly go to people and educate masses about achievement. In the state, activists should now realize that their responsibility is to work towards mitigation of the problems of the people.
Sharda Nandan Bhat Vice President, J.L Pandita Vice President, and Ravinder Razdan also spoke on the occasion.
The meeting concluded with reciting of National Anthem.
