Workers organize meeting to intensify party activities in Kashmir
Welcoming the remarks of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on the historic speech on 15th August at New Delhi that people in Kashmir need embracing, not abuses and bullets, Bharatiya Janata Party, Kashmir said such steps taken by party top leadership has restored the faith among people.
The party workers in the meeting said PM Narendra Modi’s comment as part of his Independence Day speech sends a clear message towards Kashmir- which is peace, prosperity and development.
“Modi Ji’s speech vindicated that there is no scope for violence in the Kashmir,” the party workers said, adding, whole country was with the people of Kashmir.
The meeting was attended by the senior party workers, who asked the workers to intensify party activities by launching door to door campaign in Kashmir. “Intensify party activities across Kashmir. Spread awareness about welfare schemes, so that common people will be benefitted from the dozens of schemes launched by the government,” the party workers said.
“Common man should be benefitted by the different schemes launched by Modi led government,” the party workers said.
The meeting was attended by State Media Secretary and Media Incharge Kashmir, Altaf Thakur; Protocol Incharge and General Secretary Srinagar, Arif Raja; District Presidents- Bashir Ahmad Ganderbal, G H Khan Bugam, Mohammad Rafiq Wani Anantnag, Wasim Bari Bandipora; Mohammad Jamal Kupwara; State Vice- President Minority Morcha Advocate Wajahat Hussain; State General Secretary Minority Morcha Sheikh Bashir; District Vice- Presidents- Ashok Butt, Asif Masoudi; District General Secretaries- Mohammad Anwar Khan, Manzoor Kulgami, Sheikh Bashir; Office incharge, Mohammad Tahir Mir, Wasim Raja and other senior workers.
