BJP Mahila Morcha pledges for New India

BJP Mahila Morcha led by its State President Purnima Sharma held an impressive programme at the statue of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Jewel Chowk to pledge for the “New India-Sankalp Se Sidhi” on the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Purnima Sharma, while addressing the leaders and the activists of Mahila Morcha said that this year marks the 75 years of “Quit India Movement” started by Gandhi ji to fire up the ongoing freedom struggle in the Nation to liberate India from the clutches of the colonial rule of British Empire. She said that PM Modi has called out to the Nation for working to make a reformed India for which he has called for “New India-Sankalp Se Sidhi” by working to free India from terrorism, corruption, illiteracy, malnutrition, communalism, casteism and work for the achievement of “Swachh Bharat” and employment for all till 2022, at the time when India will be celebrating its 75 years of Independence from the colonial rule.

All the leaders and the activists of Mahila Morcha also pledged to free India from all these alarming situations established in the society.

She said that the ladies played an important role during the freedom struggle of India along with the men at that time, while attending to their home responsibilities at the same time. She said that women form the fifty percent of total population, thus they have to take lead role in the policy making for the Nation and the Society.

Veenu Khanna, Sanjita Dogra, Neelam, Anu Gupta, Parveen Arora, Veena Gupta, Kamini, Radha, Anita Gupta, Sanjita Anand, Asha and others were among the important Mahila Morcha leaders present on the occasion.
