BJP Mahila Morcha led by its State President Purnima Sharma took out a scooty rally from the Radio Station Chowk to Ranbireshwar Mandir, Shalamar in connection with the National level Tiranga rallies under the banner of “Naya Bharat-Sankalp Se Sidhi”.
Purnima Sharma, while addressing the rally, said that on the call of Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, to celebrate the 75 years of the rise of “Quit India Movement” in 1942 by Gandhi ji, we all need to understand the true value of patriotism. She said that the rise during the freedom struggle resulted in the freedom of India after the gap of 5 years in 1947 after so many sacrifices which is also known as “August Kranti”. She said that all the persons must embed the feeling of patriotism in their hearts, which is utmost necessary for a Nation to self glory. She asked all to work with commitment for the new India free from Corruption, Illiteracy, Casteism, Communalism, Terrorism, Malnutrition, Unemployment and Insanitation.
Purnima Sharma said that the role of women in the formation of a great Nation was never less than the men and the women had to take the dual role of handling their home affairs as well as the active role in the freedom of India, which makes their contribution even more important. She said that even today for the formation of “New India”, the women have to take a leading role in the society as they form the fifty percent of the whole population.
