In pursuance to the decision taken on party’s foundation day held on 6th April the BJP Mandal Bhaderwah today celebrated the Punya Tithi of party’s senior leader and Sher-e-Doda Kotwal Daya Krishan at his birth place village Udrana.
In this connection a meeting was held at Udrana, Bhaderwah, wherein a large number of party activists drawn from various parts of Bhaderwah Mandal participated.
In the meeting rich tributes were paid to the late leader by remembering his active role in agitations ranging from scrapping of permit system in 1953 to anti- Emergency in 1975 and for saving Doda from clutches of militancy in 1992. Rich tributes were also paid to this nationalist hero for doing self less service to the party and the society. The other who spoke on the occasion included Ramneek Singh Manhas, Raj Singh Charak, Master Durga Parahsad Kak, Kesho Ram Kotwal, Raj Singh Kotwal, Koshal Kotwal, Manjeet Razdan, vajinder Kotwal, Satish Kotwal, Shekhar Rathore, Bal Krishan Kotwal etc.
