Bharatiya Janata Party has decided to celebrate Birth Day of the former Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, as ‘Sushasan Diwas’ (Good Governance Day) on 25th of December throughout the country. This was declared by BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma in a meeting attended by State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, State General Secretary Harinder Gupta, Minister of Industries & Commerce Chander Prakash Ganga and State Spokesperson Prof. Virender Gupta who has been nominated as State Incharge of Good Governance Department of the party.
The meeting also constituted State Level Committee for the celebration of ‘Sushasan Diwas’ and discussed various programmes to be organized on this occasion and decided to hold ‘Sushasan Yatra’, seminars, debates, rallies at the constituency level, painting competitions and exhibitions. All these programmes shall be aimed to throw light on the achievements that country obtained and the welfare schemes initiated during Prime Ministership of Atal Behari Vajpayee and the development, progress and initiatives taken at the national level during the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The programmes that are to be organized also include to conduct oath ceremony at the government level and at the district level by the elected public representatives.
The meeting nominated the State Level Committee that consists of Chander Prakash Ganga, Harinder Gupta, Prof. Virender Gupta, Dr. Hari Dutt Shishu, Anil Parihar, Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra and Prof. P.L. Koul and the State Committee has been authorized to constitute the district level committees for the organization of the above programmes at the respective district levels.
