BJP Trade & Industry Cell State Convenor Kulbhushan Mohtra, while addressing a meeting of the office bearers of the Cell, urged upon them to go to the public and educate them about the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s historic decision on the existing currency notes of rupees 500 and rupees 1000 and also help the bank customers in their matters related to the transactions.
Kulbhushan Mohtra said that after the decision of the Modi-led NDA government at the Centre, the opposition parties, Congress in particular, has unleashed a misinformation campaign as its leaders are frustrated and passing through tense times. The statements of the leaders of opposition parties are creating confusions and wrong conceptions, which is very unfortunate.
Mohtra said that the party activists are devoting their time and visiting different branches of banks in their respective areas to extend help to the customers in their transactions as well as providing them drinking water, tea, eatables etc. He said that the Trade & Industry Cell activists should also follow the same in their respective areas besides assuring the public not to panic and get misled by the utterances of the leaders of opposition parties.
The meeting was attended by Varinderjeet Singh, Rajesh Gupta, Janinder Jain, Varinder Arora, Vikul Gupta, Ajay Gupta, Sudershan Khajuria and Mantoo.
