The State Unit of BJP has further geared up its training department, which has started to train party activists at different levels about the basic principles and ideology of the party besides teaching them to handle print, electronic and social media.
The one day training workshop commenced with the recitation of Varg Geet.
In this series, BJP activists presently holding the posts at district level as Incharges of Media, IT, District Training Incharges and Co-Incharges, who had been invited at one day workshop at Jammu, were briefed about the importance and managing these important means of communication. These training workshop/Varg are being organized under Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayay Prakshikshan Mahaabhiyan.
BJP Training Department State Incharge Rajeev Charak, while speaking on the motive of imparting training to party activists, said that by doing so the party plans to reach the people with complete information related to BJP ideology and achievements of Narendra Modi led government. The party at the national level has set a target of training 15 lakh activists across the country, who will be serving as bridge between the party and the people in their respective areas. He said that in Jammu and Kashmir 7,565 activists at Mandals level have been imparted training and the number at district level has been 2500 till date and 350 activists at state level have gone through this training. To complete this exercise, by June 30 district level Varg will be completed and by July 1st exercise at state level will be completed, which falls on the birth anniversary of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayay. The final exercise in this regard will be completed by August 10 at national level.
BJP State Spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan shared his experience of handling media related activities of the party, drafting press releases and communicating the same to the newspapers through e-mails etc.
IT& Social Media Department Incharge Jaidev Rajwal spoke on modern and easily accessible means of social media to reach the people and make them aware of the programme and policies of the party.
Training Cell State Members Ajay Pargal, Purshotam Sharma, Monika Khosla, Jagdev Singh, Dheeraj Singh, Prithvi Singh, Gajay Singh, Inderjeet Sharma, Hardesh Khokhar, Ayodhya Gupta, Capt. Som Raj, Premnath Dogra, Kailash Kumar, Jaideep Sambyal, Dr. Narinder Singh, Swami Raj were prominent from different districts who attended the workshop.
