On concluding two days visit of Kashmir, BJP National Vice-President, Ex-MP and J&K Prabhari, Avinash Rai Khanna, alongwith State President & MLA Sat Sharma, State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, reached Jammu and chaired a meeting of the office bearers of State, Jammu West, Jammu Districts. Others present in the meeting were Ministers and newly appointed Vice-Chairpersons, MLAs, MLCs and Morcha Presidents at State Office in Trikuta Nagar Jammu.
Avinash Rai Khanna, while addressing the meeting, said that BJP’s next target is to register splendid victory in 2019 and the preparations for the same are to be made from today, itself. To achieve the target, BJP activists at all levels need to be involved. He said that the recent elections results in assemblies were great land mark for the party and it was possible because of efficient planning and hard work of the Karyakartas, who approached all sections of the society. Khanna also sought the report of working from the District Presidents, Mandal Presidents and Incharges of respective Morchas. He emphasized on the gross root level working of the organisation and asked the Karyakartas to activate the organisation at booth levels.
He said that during his visit to Srinagar the feedback of the Karyakartas for party’s participation in the forthcoming Parliament elections in two constituencies in Valley was sought, which will be discussed in core group and election committee. The final decision on the matter shall be taken by the party high command at Delhi.
Sat Sharma, on this occasion, said that the morale of the party activists in all the three regions of the state is very high after victory in UP and Uttrakhand in particular and we have to focus on
Panchayat and local bodies elections. He said that all the opposition parties had united to defame PM Narendra Modi on the issue of demonetisation but failed get to mislead the voters and BJP once again emerged most stronger.
State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul spoke on the future programmes to be undertaken at different levels across the State and also the party’s growing graph in Kashmir.
Khanna, alongwith other leaders, also felicitated the recently appointed Vice Chairpersons including Subash Jandiyal, Balbir Ram Rattan and S. Varinderjeet Singh.
BJP State General Secretaries Dr. Narinder Singh and Harinder Gupta, Jammu West District President Ayodhya Gupta and Jammu District President Baldev Singh Billawaria also shared dais.
