A workshop was organized by BJYM at Party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar on “Yuva for Digital Paisa”campaign to make Yuva Morcha activist aware about various digital transaction methods. On the occasion an folder with all information on digital transaction was launched by State General Secretary (organisation) Ashok Koul, BJYM State President Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra, All Morchas Prabhari Munish Sharma, State Secretary & BJYM Prabhari Sanjay Baru along with BJYM State General Secretaries Vikas Choudhary and Tarun Sharma, State Vice President Adv Anu Behnal.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Koul appreciated the role of BJYM for organising state level workshop on “Youth for Digital Paisa” and said that Yuva Morcha is doing good. He further said, for ensuring re-making of Indian economy demonetize high denominations by our Prime Minister is a welcome step and he has high aspirations from the Youth of the country to make it a big success. Mr. koul further said that organisational structure can collectively work to achieve dreams of prosperous India. He further added, that all banks across the country, be it government run, co-operative or private banks, all are offering debit card, credit card to their customers efficiently. Given to these statistics, it should not be challenging to move towards cashless transactions.
Addressing the workshop Munish Sharma said that dream of 100% cashless society, is not an overnight work. we have to move in the direction of less cash, thereby eventually achieving the goal of a cashless society. Munish Sharma appreciated and appealed to reach at door step of farmer, youth to aware them about digital Paisa. He further emphasized that youth contributes 65 percent of total population of country and they supported Demonetization and will join for the same.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Magotra said that youth has a “historic opportunity” to join hands with the revolutionary step taken by Hon’ble Prime Minster Narendra Modi to take our nation to greater heights and eradicate corruption and black money from the country. He further said that when there are around “80 crore” people who possess debit or credit cards and “90 crore mobile users” are already in the country, it should not be challenging to move towards cashless transactions. Our present effort and support to cashless economy will secure future of Bharat. Dr. Magotra also discuss some direct benefits of demonetization, fake currency is out of circulation in one stroke, funding stopped to all terrorists outfits, cash lying with terror groups and mafias have gone waste, Kashmir is back to normal, hawala network too have dried up, defaulters of banks, property tax, electricity & telecom bills are clearing their long pending bills, extremists organizations like Maoists starting thinking of surrendering, Jan Dhan accounts are being filled up with huge deposits, small vendors are going #Digital, 55lakh money disputes settled in just one day in LOK Adalat. Dr. Magotra also appointed Anshul Gupta (CA) as state incharge for Digital Paisa and said that such campaign will be organised at district level in coming days.
On the occasion, State Treasurer Anshul Gupta made presentation on digital money –use of bank cards, e-wallets, AADHAAR-enabled payment, unified payment interface and USSD, later followed by question answer session.
