Setting an example of humanity with a vision to help needy sections across the society, State Vice President BJYM (Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha) and In charge Jammu West Karan Sat Sharma contributed an amount of Rupees ten thousand to two needy families of Mazdoor Basti and Rajiv Basti of Resham Ghar area of Ward 13. He was also accompanied by locals and social activists of the area. Sharma handed over the amounts to families of Pushpa Devi and Pooja Devi both residents of above mentioned areas.
In a press statement issued, Karan Sat Sharma said that it is indeed a small step to help the families in one way or another. He said that though this amount will not last forever but will help these families in overcoming some of their problems.
He said the condition of houses of both the families are miserable and with this initiative, they will be able to provide themselves with some assistance which could help in building a small room, toilet or will help in building a cemented roof on their house.
He stated that he has contributed the amount from his personal savings and he also appealed the masses as well to come forward in the noble cause and a helping hand must be given by one way or another to those who are in dire need so that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of building “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ could be achieved.
State Executive Member BJP Naresh Sharma Mantu, Mandal President BJYM Atul Bakshi, Pusha Sharma, Vinod Kumar, Rano Devi, Narinder Kumar and several others were also present on the occasion.
