State IT and Social Media team of BJYM organised IT and Social Media Workshop of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), at Party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. BJP State President and MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) inaugurated the Session by enlightening the Traditional Lamp along with BJYM State President Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra, BJP State Secretary and Prabhari BJYM Sanjay Baru, BJYM National IT incharge Devan Davi, State IT incharge Saurab Jain and State Social Media Incharge Rohit Verma. BJP State President Sat Sharma along with BJYM State President Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra also launched State BJYM website. BJYM State General Secretaries Vikas Choudhary and Tarun Sharma, State Vice-President and Prabhari Social Media Adv Annu Behnal and State co-incharge Keshav Khajuria was also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma appreciated the hard work done by BJYM to organise such a big and brain storming workshop and said that this is the first ever workshop in the State with the activists participating from Districts and mandals, he said that in present the Youth of the country is very much familiar with all the technical gadgets and internet. This is the time when the people have ignored the use of electronic and print media and is very close with the IT and Social Media. He said that in recent past we have noticed that the population have switched their interests towards Social Media, we also have to change with the time, now it will be the responsibility of the Youth of this State to reach the common masses and especially the Youth with all the achievement of our Central and State coalition governments.
BJYM National President Poonam Mahajan and National Social Media Incharge Chetan Bragta also connected with the activists on video conferencing from Mumbai and Himachal Pradesh respectively. In her Address Poonam Mahajan congratulated BJYM for the workshop and said that social media is a very important tool to use in Jammu & Kashmir, for showing the reality on ground and the growth in every sector to the whole world. She said that the whole team of BJYM is doing good under the leadership of BJYM State Chief Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra.
Addressing the gathering, Ashok kaul congratulated BJYM for this workshop and said that, by doing video conferencing session, shows this powerful tool of present era is seriously used by State BJYM. The common people are using it cleverly and have benefitted present politics of the country, the result is what we have seen from the recent elections in which BJP is forming government in almost every elections. Modi-led government have initiated a lot of schemes for the Youth of the country, if we will share all the important information on social media platforms it will be very easy for the Youth to have knowledge about all those schemes and they can be benefitted.
On the occasion Dr. Magotra said that, with the time changing from the print and electronic towards Social Media, it has become important for the Youth to have sound knowledge of these technical specifications and gadgets, and all those who will adopt it will never fail in any field of their life. He said that Social Media have a good impact on the Political System of present era and all the leaders are using it with great concern and have benefitted because of social media. Social Media is a two side process, with the benefits for the political leaders it has given equal benefit to the common people of the country.
