Asks leaders to introspect instead of day dreaming
Ridiculing the claim of Congress leader & MLA from Inderwal G.M. Saroori that “people are again looking towards Congress”, BJP State Spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan said that this vague statement far from the reality is only reflective of pathetic and pitiful frame of mind of the Congress leaders, who tend to mislead the people even now when the party stands decimated politically at the center and across the country.
Balbir Ram Rattan said even more sad is the fact that Saroori despite being a seasoned leader, is day dreaming as the entire leadership of the Congress party, both at the centre as well as in J&K, is in a state of utter confusion, directionless and indecisive about its future. The fact that stands brazenly on the face of the party is that Congress during its 10 years rule at the Centre in UPA-1 and UPA-2, miserably failed to address the grievances of people and instead remained engaged in scam after scam, which tumbled out of its ‘cupboard’ of hollow governance. In J&K too, the Congress party is responsible for the present state of affairs, where the party despite being partner in two successive ruling regimes flawed on every front. Instead of day dreaming, the Congress leader should know that his party owes an explanation to the public for its wrong doings, the BJP leader said.
Balbir said that gone are the days when people used to get carried away by self-centric policies of the Congress. Now they have found much reliable and committed alternate in BJP and the NDA government at centre led by dynamic leader Narender Modi, who has a vision for the J&K state. Moreover, humiliating defeat of the Congress in 2014 Lok Sabha elections and later in 2015 Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, are self explanatory proofs that the people no longer trust it and do not endorse its policies and programmes. It seems funny and ironical as to why the Congress leaders in J&K cannot read the writing on the wall and are making hollow claims just to remain in lime light.
