A number of deputations of the local inhabitants of Kalika Colony and Kabir Basti called on BJP State Secretary Chuodhary Vikram Randhawa at Trikuta Nagar Office on Tuesday. He was apprised of the problems being faced by the families residing in the said colonies. They told the BJP leader that the families in Kalika Colony and Kabir Basti are living for the last 25-30 years but still their colonies have not be regularized nor do they have the adequate supply of drinking water. They cannot build concrete houses and are always at risk during heavy rains as their mud houses collapse many a times, thus causing heavy damages and losses.
Choudhary Vikram Randhawa listened their grievances with patience and assured that whatever has been narrated by them will be taken up with the concerned authorities.
Randhawa said that the BJP coalition government in the state is concerned for the well being of all the sections of the society and it is being ensure that no one is made to suffer on any account. He said that on one hand a number of developmental activities have been initiated in the areas housing the population of poor and weaker sections, on the other many welfare schemes have been launched for the welfare of these sections of the society.
These deputations were led by Krishan Lal, Ram Pal, Manoj Kumar, Ajeet Kumar and Anil Kumar.
