Dr.Gagan Bhagat inaugurates 250 KVA Transformer at Rattian and several developmental works.

M.L.A R.S Pura & Political Advisor to State B.J.P President Dr.Gagan Bhagat started various developmental works in the R.S Pura Constituency. At village Rattian 250 K.V.A transformer was inaugurated in the presence of several villagers ,and party activist, and Macadamizing of Main road to Village from Simbal head was completed at an estimated cost of Rs.15 Lakhs which was being completed by the P.W.D department, speaking on the occasion Dr.Gagan Bhagat said that these two important demands were made by the local inhabitants of the village to him during the time of elections and he is very happy that he has fulfilled his promise , as it was very genuine demands especially the link road which was incomplete for the last fifteen years, and was ignored by the previous NC-Congress govt. The locals lauded the efforts of the legislator and praised the speed of the developmental works in the R.S Pura Constituency, “ we all are surprised that the works which were considered as a distant dream ,we lost every hope and to see those works started by the M.L.A ,we appreciate the Modi government for thinking about a common man. Later on Dr.Gagan Bhagat also inaugurated lane and drain at Village Kothey Salehar , which was the main demand of the villagers he had promised last year in a public function held in the Panchyat Ghar, during the function Dr.Gagan said that the developmental works which are important and the oldest demands of the villagers will be taken first among the priority, while addressing a gathering at the Mandir Chowk of village Rattian he announced that one Mark-II ,Deep bore hand pump will be installed soon, and a Water Supply Scheme will be soon in place as Pure and safe drinking water is the basic and important need and the village has no source for pure drinking water, while speaking at a public meeting at Village Koulan Dr.Gagan Bhagat announced that the cremation ground of the village in which there is no shed and the villagers face a tough time when some death occurs in the village especially during bad weather will also be constructed soon in the coming days as he has directed the concerned officials to do the needful at the earliest. At Village Gazipur Kullian a Community Hall near Shiv Mandir was also completed with the funds under B.A.D.P , now the local inhabitants will not have to spent thousands of rupees for the religious and social functions, Dr.Gagan was quiet satisfied with the quality of work done by the authorities and he also further directed them to maintain high standards and create an example two more developmental works were started by Dr.Gagan Bhagat later in the day ,the first one was R.B.M filling and construction of drainage channel at an estimated cost of Rs.5 lakhs at Village Draptey which will reduce the water logging in the area and secondly he inaugurated the construction of new building of Govt. High School at Village Jinder Mehlu under R.M.S.A at an estimated cost of Rs. 35 lakhs which was the main demand of the local residents of the village as the old building was very small to accommodate the students of the adjoining villages , the work was being done by the P.W.D .After the inauguration of the developmental works Dr.Gagan Bhagat attended a open public darbar at Ward No.8 of R.S Pura Municipal Committee in which several problems faced by the residents were put forward, they told the legislator that one large drainage channel was completely filled with garbage and the desilting has not been done for the past several years, due to which occurs water logging in the area during the monsoon ,there is every possible risk of water borne diseases transmission in the locality, some people complained regarding irregularities in the P.D.S (Ration Supply) of the area and several local issues regarding installation of street lights , blacktopping of small links, financial assistance especially old age, and handicap through the social welfare department, while addressing the gathering Dr.Gagan Bhagat said that according to him at present the main problem of the people who reside within the municipal limits is the Garbage disposal ,dumping and its treatment ,and it is also the main problem of the Jammu and Srinagar cities too, he assured that soon as the new government assumes the office he will meet the concerned minister and will take out a suitable way out for the waste management and disposal , and regarding the N.F.S.A , he said that he is very much sure that the popular government in the state will rectify the wrongdoings in the effective implementation of the said act in the state and the blunders and the misconceptions which have taken place unfortunately, it will be corrected from the grass root level itself, so that a vacuum which has been created between the common person and the C.A.P.D authorities be reduced to zero. He also directed the Municipal authorities to maintain cleanliness in the town, and around the religious places during the coming Navratras, and directing the P.D.D Officials he said to provide continuous power supply in the town especially during the auspicious fasting days, he also assured that plantation will be continued as in the past to make “Clean R.S Pura-Green R.S Pura” a reality ,he also appealed to strictly avoid the use of Polythene bags, and in this regard the business community should come forward as they also have some duty towards the mother nature, and particular in this regard the political persons should come forward on one platform shunning the party politics to fight with the Polythene menace and give our contribution to save the environment.
