M.L.A R.S Pura and Political Advisor to State B.J.P President Dr. Gagan Bhagat on Wednesday visited Kotli Mian Fateh Village, which is the last village of R.S Pura Constituency and interacted with the villagers, shopkeepers here today. People of the area apprised the Dr. Gagan Bhagat about problem of electricity, construction of culvert over canal, establishing the Police Naka at the main bazaar Kotli Mian Fateh, installing wter coolers for the local passengers. While talking to the local masses, Dr. Gagan Bhagat assured them that he will fulfill their demands on priority and the works which were ignored for the past several years will be done in his tenure. While addressing the gathering, Dr. Gagan Bhagat apprised them about the works done by the Union Govt. and State Govt. in the last three years. Dr. Gagan Bhagat said that the Union government under the able leadership of Sh. Narendra Modi has been continuously working hard to bring some positive changes in the country and with the International community. He said that ‘The Schemes and projects started by the Govt. has been proven to benefit the poor and deserving person of the society not only in country but also in the Jammu and Kashmir,which was alienated in the previous Congress led government in the centre. He also highlighted the achievements of the B.J.P Coalition government in the Jammu & Kashmir, in which one can clearly differentiate that these ten months of the BJP-PDP Coalition government was better than the previous rule of National Conference and Congress led government in the State, which was busy in looting a common human being, and created liabilities of more than Nine thousand crores , and that too at a stage when they knew that now they have been exposed and the people of Jammu & Kashmir will out rightly reject them, they tried to create the liabilities which was a big burden on the State Exchequer. He also apprised them about the Prime Minister Fasal Beema Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, L.P.G Connections to poor women, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, enhancement in the emoluments of S.P.Os, Make in India, Digital India, Skill Development , Controlling the ever increasing Prices of Diesel and Petrol etc, all the initiatives of N.D.A government, which are aimed at development, welfare and bringing progress. Dr.Bhagat also claimed that in J&K too, B.J.P, as coalition partner, brought corruption to end, provided people-centric government with focus on women empowerment and welfare of weaker sections, youth, farmers. Earlier Dr. Gagan Bhagat also paid a surprised visit to inspect the working of Potato Seed Development Farm Kotli Mian Fateh on Miran Sahib-Bishnah Road and was surprised to know that while inspection that there were only couple of employees napping and others missing while on duty. He directed the senior officials of the deptt. To hold an enquiry into the said episode and warned that any kind of dereliction of duty will not be tolerated . He also announced that he will continue to pay surprise visits in the offices of public importance in near future also.
