Dr. Gagan Bhagat M.L.A R.S Pura on Monday toured Salehar village of R.S Pura started several developmental works and addressed a large gathering near Shiv Mandir. He started his tour from door-to-door to contact people and informed them about Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s personality, achievement and thinking towards the poor and apprised them about the developmental activities done by the Union and State Government in the last three years. He distributed letters of approval to beneficiaries of Prime Minister’s Aawas Yojnna and assured them that their dream of pucca houses will soon be converted into reality. He said that the dream of every poor person will now come true, for which the government is constantly making efforts. Dr. Gagan Bhagat bhoomi-pujan of Pacca Danga near Shiv Mandir which will be beautified at an estimated cost of Rs 5 lakhs.The Legislator further said that every poor person will have a pucca house. We are making constant efforts to fulfil this resolution. He said that turn by turn houses will be approved under the Prime Minister’s Aawas Yojna to the poor. He said that the Jammu & Kashmir government is trying to deliver its best under the dynamic leadership of Dy.CM Dr. Nirmal Singh, State President MLA Sat Sharma and M.P Jugal Kishore Sharma. Children are being given free education, books, uniform and every opportunity has been provided to the girl child in particular. He further informed that he will surely compel the government in the forthcoming assembly session in Srinagar that the Govt. should bear the expenses of students who acquire more than 75 per cent marks in Class 12th. He said that Nal-Jal Yojana has been prepared for all villages of R.S Pura Constituency and that will also be raised in the assembly and hoping that the concerned Minister will provide funds for the same so that every individual gets pre drinking water in R.S Pura. Through this Scheme Water will be supplied regularly in every house. He also informed the people present on the occasion that he has got approved monthly pension of Rs 1000 to disabled person and very soon all the specially abled person will get that benefit in R.S Pura Constituency and in the same way the Widow and Old Age Pension pending cases will be taken care of soon. and elite citizens were present on the occasion. He toured every lane of the Village Salehar and directed the officials of the Rural Development Department to prepare the estimates of the lanes and drains which are shabby so that it can be constructed through the MLA C.D fund, he also announced that an 100 KVA Sub Station will be created in the village and damaged conductors and poles will also be replaced the funds have been transferred to the P.D.D and very soon the same will be completed at the earliest. He also directed R.D.D officials to start the construction of bath room for females near the cremation ground which was the long pending demand.Regarding roads of Rathan-Salehar and NewPlots to Gandli Kool Kalan roads have been tendered the work of Macadamization will be started in middle of June , he informed.On the occasion Kapil Sharma, Rampaul Sharma, Ravi Singh, Bunty Charak, Abishek Jamwal Shanky, Hardayal , Sukham Singh, Bhanu Singh,Shiv Sharma, Dwarka Nath, Sohan Kumar, Sham Sharma,Gharu Ram,Jyoti Sharma and Kulbhushan Singh.
