08 Feb. Wednesday 2017:- M.L.A R.S Pura Constituency Dr.Gagan Bhagat today inaugurated several developmental works in his Constituency starting from Village Kalyana. He inaugurated the road upgradation work from Village Kalyana to Mulachak Road which will be taken up by Public Works Department at the estimated cost of Rs. 10 Lakhs . He was accompanied by the X.E.N P.W.D , A.E.E P.W.D .Later on a Gram Sabha was organized at Panchayat Ghar Kalyana in which hundreds of locals participated and discussed various problems and issues, Dr.Gagan directed the concerned authorities to act swiftly on the complaint and rectify the problem in the shortest possible time. Later on Dr. Gagan visited Ward No.11 of Municipal Committee R.S.Pura and inaugurated a Lane Drain Work of Rs.4 lakhs, which was a long pending issue. Dr.Gagan said the coalition was committed to create better infrastructural facilities in every nook and corner of the state under a well-knit development program. The present coalition government is working for the all round development in the state and the regional imbalance which was at high during the last regime and the mandate which the people of Jammu gave to the Bhartiya Janta Party and due to the situation in valley and untimely demise of Late Mufti Mohd. Sayeed the developmental activities were completely paralyzed as the state was under the governors rule .Now as the current govt. under the present C.M Mehbooba Mufti which is almost ten months old is trying its level best to perform the developmental activities all around the state .He was accompanied by E.O R.S Pura, Tehsildar R.S.Pura, S.H.O R.S.Pura, B.D.O R.S.Pura and other Sub-Divison officers. He also toured W.No.9 and 10, and met with the people. The locals raised the issues pertaining to Ration distribution and electricity, which was assured to be rectified at shortest possible time by Dr. Gagan Bhagat. A Community Langer was organized at Ward No.9, main road Chohala Morh by Agrawal Sabha RS.Pura, in which Dr. Gagan distributed Langer and Prayed to the Almighty for the peace and prosperity of the area. He also praised the Agrawal community for their participation in the social functions and supporting the mandate given by the people to the Bhartiya Janta Party in the country and in the state. Prominent among those who were present included Sr. B.J.P Leader Omparkash Chachu, Avtar Singh, B.J.P Mandal Pradhan Natha Ram, B.J.P City President Inder Sudan, Happy Broca, Lucky Chhabra, Abhishek Gupta, Anil Kumar, Manmohan Choudhary, Pratap Kumar, Omkar Singh and others.
