Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a meeting between its Ministers and District Presidents in which all the district presidents along with one minister in their adopted districts were asked to listen to the grievances of common people and address the same on time.
The meeting was coordinated by party State General Secretary Dr. Narinder Singh. “Dr. Narinder Singh will coordinate the district presidents with that of government ministers of BJP,” Party Media Incharge Kashmir, Altaf Thakur said.
Thakur also said that Singh asked party workers to move to the remotest areas and listen to the grievances of people there. “Listen to the grievances of common people in each village and address their problems irrespective of political lineage of people,” Singh emphasised.
Singh asked party district presidents and ministers to lay emphasis on centrally sponsored schemes to ensure welfare of common people. “To ensure that all the centrally sponsored schemes are implemented on ground and for that BJP have to organize public darbar frequently under the leadership of in charge minister in every district.
Singh told party’s newly elected district presidents that successive governments have only exploited the people in Kashmir, which is evident from the fact that despite central government’s huge financial assistance through different schemes, no development is visible on ground.
“BJP has launched a huge developmental plan and in near future the people will witness new phase of development for that BJP has roped in its workers to reached to far off areas,” he said.
Present in the meeting were Yudhveer Sethi, Mamta Singh, Moti Koul and Dr. Darakshan Andrabi, State Vice-Presidents, Arun Gupta, Khalid Jahangir, State Spokespersons, party senior members including M. M. War and all the ten districts.
