The Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander parkash inaugurated various road improvement works at Samba. The Minister inaugurated macdamization work for 6 kms road at BariBrahmana town being executed by PWD at the cost of 1.1 crores. The minister also inaugurated 2 km internal road work at Bassi Kalan executed by PWD at the cost of Rs 64 lakhs.
The Minister said that the government was laying special emphasis on construction, upgradation and maintenance of roads in the State and directed officials to ensure that best work practices are followed.The Minister reiterated the commitment of the government to provide and improve basic facilities to the people. The Minister was accompanied by Xen’s PWD K.S Nathayal and Rajan Mengi, AEE’s PWD Rajesh Sumbaria and Manoj Kohli.
