GUPTA AND TALIB VISITED BORDER VILLAGES OF RAJOURI DISTRICT

GOVT. IS COMMITTED FOR OVERALL SECURITY OF PUBLIC NEAR LOC

In view of escalating tension over the LoC due to the surgical strikes and to stay in touch with the resident of border villages, Advocate Vibod Gupta MLC Rajouri along with Ex-Member parliament Ch. Talib Hussain  and a team of social activists of Rajouri district visited border areas in Androoth, Nogran, Pukharni, Rachwa which are vulnerable to border shelling and lying near the LoC.
During the tour, Gupta and his associates met with the local representatives/ religious leaders and general public of the area and listened their grievances. Residents of these villages were found more confident due to the step taken by the Modi Government, in response to hidden attacks by the neighboring country. Local Sarpanch apprised Mr. Gupta, that people are self-confident and are not ready to shift from their places. Rather locals of the area presented some demands for their safety so that they can easily stay in their native villages.
Mr. Gupta while addressing to the public gatherings at various villages firstly appealed the public to maintain peace and amity and appealed them to cooperate with the security agencies, civil administration which is taking adequate steps for ensuring their safety. Gupta told them state Govt. and District administration is very keen and worried about their safety. He told them DC Rajouri has prepared the complete road map for evacuation of people from the Border Villages, if required. He further told that 72 Camps are being established at different safest location all over the district and arrangements for 70000 people residing in the villages lying near the Actual line of Control is being made. He further added that all departments providing essential services like PHE, PDD, Health, CAPD have prepared the flow chart for the tasks to be performed  pertaining to their departments.  Camp officers have been appointed and SDMs/ Tehsildars / BDOs have been assigned the supervision of these camps for providing all the basic facilities to the Public. Army / Police authorities are at full alert and establishing control rooms in the district to facilitate the public.
Speaking on the occasion, Ch. Talib Hussain Ex-MP said that govt. is committed to find out a permanent solution for the people residing in border villages. Centre in coordination with the state Govt. is doing at its best to provide complete security cover to the public.  He also said that department of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs have taken the job of providing ration for the functioning of the Camps. He said that India is much more powerful than any country and can save their people at its best.

Mr. Vibod Gupta MLC while talking to the public said that, It’s the time for public to stand against the divisive forces and keep faith on Government and assured full support and cooperation to the borer residents. He said that for the last one year the escalation of border firing has caused casualties and injuries  to security personnel as well as civil population and it shall not be tolerated at any cost.
