Member of Parliament from Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha segment and former State President of Bhartiya Janta Party Jugal Kishore Sharma and M.L.A from R.S Pura Constituency Dr.Gagan Bhagat collectively flagged off Bhartiya Janta Party’s “ Panchyat Jansampark Yatra” from Village Indiranagar, Miran Sahib .The said yatra aimed to capture maximum Panchayts in the much awaited Panchyatai Raj Institutions elections in the state .While addressing the yatra M.P Jugal Kishore Sharma said that for the last five years the Panchyat Raj was functional, and during that period no developmental works were done besides nepotism and favoritism was at its peak, along with the previous NC-Congress Coalition government in the state had also done nothing for the people who reside in the villages.The yatra passed through Brij Nagar Kharian, Miran Sahib Main Bazaar, Prem Nagar, Shiv Nagar,Ban Sultaan, Malikpur, Nandpur, Sujjadpur, Malikpur Kothey, Makhanpur Gujran, Simbal Tekri, Dhindey Kalan upper and ended at Simbal Link Road where the party leaders addressed a gathering of workers and discussed the future course of yatra which will continue in the State till 5th of March next month. Dr.Gagan Bhagat also announced bathroom for females at Krishna Nagar locality at an estimated cost of Rs. 5 Lacs.Jugal Kishore Sharma, and Dr.Gagan Bhagat collectively announced Rs.5 Lacs and Rs.3 Lacs from the MPLADS and CDF respectively for the developmental and urgent works in the cremation ground Miran Sahib Main Baazar, Rs.12 Lacs will be contributed under the Convergence scheme by the rural development department under MGNREGA, and Rs.13 Lacs will be spent under 14th Finance Commission funds which was earmarked by Dr.Gagan Bhagat on the demand of Miran Sahib Market association . The villagers who were present all along the yatra to welcome M.P and M.L.A along with the team of B.J.P workers appreciated the role of P.M Narendra Modi for cornering Pakistan, they also highlighted the blacktopping work, L.E.D lights in the Miran Sahib by M.L.A Dr.Gagan Bhagat.Theyb also appealed them for installing two 10 MVA transformers at the Miran Sahib Electric Sub-Station under D.D.U.G.J.Y , besides blacktopping and construction of drain in the main market of Miran Sahib baazar .It is pertinent to mention here that few months ago,Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly Kavinder Gupta, M.P Jugal Kishore Sharma and M.L.A R.S Pura Dr.Gagan Bhagat for the improvement and development of Indiranagar cremation ground had announced Rs.30 Lacs funds collectively from CDF,MPLADS and Convergence scheme.The current government has spent most of the funds in the rural area which was ignored for very long time and the improvement of road infrastructure at R.S Pura and allotment of Rs. 48000 Crores to MGNREGA Scheme by the union govt. are the live example of rural area focused development by the Bhartiya Janta Party said Dr.Gagan Bhagat in his address at Simbal link road and Village Phinder.
