Jugal Kishore Sharma Member of Parliament Lok Sabha raised issue in the Parliament for the early commencement of work for the improvement and renovation of Jammu Tawi Railway Station during the question hour. While adding to his point he thanked Minister for Railways has already announced for the development of said railway station in the Ist list but the work should be commenced at the earnest so that the passengers as well as tourist will get benefit of the modern equipments and the modular Jammu Tawi Railway Station. Minister for Railways Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu assured that the said work will be started soon after the completion of certain formalities pertaining to State Government.
Jugal Kishore Sharma Member of Parliament also raised important issue for the stoppage of Uttar Sampark Kranti express at Manwal Railway Station as it will provide a major relief to the people of rural area as they are deprived off getting Rail facilities in the area.Moreover he also added that he is the resident of village Kishenpur which is much far from Udhampur as well as Jammu Tawi Railway Station and he has to travel more than 40 kilometers to start his journey by train.Minister for Railways also deputed officials to persue the matter to make possible the stoppage of said train at the earnest.
