In its endeavour to provide a clean atmosphere to the people of Jammu,the Rotary Club Jammu under the Presidentship of Rotarian Rakesh Gupta and with the coordination of Kanak Mandi Association launch the project Clean India Greeen India by donating Dustbins to the health officer of the JMC Dr.Zafar Iqbal. MLA Rajesh Gupta was the chief guest on the occasion and the handing over of the dust bins for installation in Kanak Mandi was done in his presence. Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the ocassion said that Rotary Club Jammu has undertaken a noble project for the benefit of the society. The importance of clean atmosphere for the society is very essential for the healthy growth of an individual. That is the reason our Prime Minister has taken it as a mission to keep our nation and society clean. Rajesh Gupta said that Swach Bharat Mission is a big step in this direction. The President of the Rotary Club Jammu Rakesh Gupta said that in the days to come more dust bins would be handed over to the JMC Jammu for installation in various localities of the city and thanked MLA Rajesh Gupta for sparing his valuable time for the noble cause. The other Rotarians who participated in the function included R.K Chowhan,Sanjay Sethi,Vipin Gupta, Rakesh Malhotra,Sanjeev Varma and others. On the ocassion the MLA was also welcomed by Kanak Mandi Traders Association President Vijay Gupta and General Secretary Anoop Mittal.The prominent who participated in the function included Sanjay Mahay,Prof Sham,P.C.Gupta,Parshottam,Pardeep Sharma, Gulshan Mahajan,Girdhari Lal,Ashwani,Praveen Kerni,Dwarka Nath,Gopal,Amit and Rajesh Sharma.
