A four member team of BJP State General Secretary Dr. Narinder Singh, MLCs Ramesh Arora and Surinder Ambardar and President BJP Kashmir Displaced Unit Chandji Bhat, convened with PM’s package and non-PM’s package employees for having deliberations with them for finding out the solution to their grievances.
In the meeting employees put forth the reasons for not attending the duty in Kashmir Valley. The main reason they highlighted in the meeting was that their life and honour is in danger so possibility of joining their duty is not possible and added that they are soft targets for terrorists. The employees demanded that first of all their salaries should be disbursed in Jammu, their attendance should be kept with nodal officer in Jammu and their school going children should be given admissions in Jammu so that educational carrier would be saved.
They demanded that Kashmir Pandits should be settled at one place in Kashmir valley with security that is the only solution to the present crisis.
The team of four members assured that their demands would be taken up with State President & MLA Sat Sharma CA for necessary action.
The members from employees side who attended the meeting were Rakesh Pandita (Kupwara), Rubin Saoroo, Rajinder Pandita, Sidharth Kaw, Kamal Pandita, Ajay Bhat, Sunil Pandita, Vimal Raina, Sunkanya Ganjoo, Sweety Koul, Vimal Pandita and Satish Raina.
