Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), State General Secretary (Org), Ashok Kaul on Saturday facilitated newly nominated members of party’s Minority Morcha in Srinagar.
Speaking on the occasion, Kaul asked the newly nominated members to gear up the activities for the betterment of common people in the Kashmir. “You have been nominated in Minority Morcha with the hope to work for the best interests of people and country,” Kaul told the newly elected members, adding, not only party, but people also have expectations from you and now it is you turn to work for them.
“You have to deliver and ensure to strengthen the cadre at grassroots level in your respective areas,” Kaul told the members.
“BJP treats all equal and there is no discrimination on creed, caste, color and religion basis in the party,” Mohammad Sidiq Khan, Minority Morcha State President said.
He said the focus should be on the collective development of society rather than concentrating on particular section of community. “Holistic development is possible only when all sections of society are treated equally,” he said, adding, Minority Morcha’s mission is to treat all equal and provide equal opportunities to all.
