‘To listen to public grievances and propagate Pt Deen Dayal Upadhaya ideology’
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) general secretary (Org) Ashok Kaul along with Party MLC, Sofi Yousuf reached out to the people living at Zero Line in Gurez to strengthen party base in this north Kashmir border town.
Kaul was heading the ‘Alp Vistarak’- expansion team in Gurez to reach out to every polling booth in the area.
Kaul said team was flagged off to reach out to every family in their respective areas and listen to the grievances and highlight the achievements of prime minister Narendra Modi led government in country and state as well.
“Dozens of centrally and state sponsored welfare schemes were launched to benefit the common masses,” Kaul said, adding, people need to be made aware about these schemes for their benefit.
Kaul said BJP led government has devised many schemes for families living in border areas.
Apart from developmental mission, the team propagated the ideology of Pt Deen Dayal Upadhayaya during their visit to this border town.
“Pt Deen Dayal Upadhayaya’s mission was to reach out the poorest person (Antodaya) and mitigate their sufferings, which we have to carry forward for the upliftment of common masses,” the party said.
Kaul also addressed party workers at Dak Bangla, Gurez. Interact with constituency teams and met different sections of the society at Cherwan.
Party MLC, Sofi Yousuf also as incharge MLC of Gurez constituency from party gave patient hearing of many delegations during their visit. “He promised to send sufficient ration and power supply to the people living here,” Yousuf said.
MLC also assured the people that he would raise the construction of tunnel- a much sorted demand of general public in Guraz with the concerned ministry in central.
