Member Legislative Assembly, Doda Shakti Raj Parihar called on Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh at civil secretariat and
discussed various developmental issues. While highlighting the various problems being faced by people of his constituency, MLA-Doda Shakti Raj Parihar demanded extra funding in Housing Urban Development Department for the construction of new drainage system in Doda town.
He also discussed various other problems with Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh and Commissioner Secretary, Deeraj Gupta regarding
electricity, road connectivity and increasing unemployment among educated youth. He expressed gratitude to the Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh over the successful competition of Receiving Station at Dhara and demanded his support in Receiving Station at Goha- Marmat which is
hanging due to shortage of funds. The MLA said, “Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh has given us the assurance to support us in all the way and promised that he will personally visit Doda to chair a high level meeting with officers.” He said, “I have also raised the demand to resume the construction of 850 MW of Rattle Hydro Electrical Power Project that would help us to resolve the unemployment problem in Chenab region.”
Pertinently, Member Legislative Assembly, Doda Shakti Raj Parihar in past two weeks have held number of public darbars in Marmat, Kulhand,
Dhara, Bhagwah where issues of the people were addressed on the spot. He also met with Public Health Engineering (PHE) Minister, Sham Lal
Chowdhery in Jammu where he raised drinking water problems being faced by people in his constituency, yesterday.
