MLA & BJP State President Sh. Sat Sharma inaugurates Nallah work at Ward 24

Keeping pace with the ongoing developmental works and ensuring the quality infrastructure in the constituency, BJP J&K State President & MLA Sat Sharma inaugurated construction work of Nallah at Ward number 24 falling under Jammu West Constituency. MLA was also accompanied by a large number of people including officials of Urban Environmental Engineering Department (UEED), local residents and political activists of the area.

Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that it was an long pending genuine demand of the residents of the area for which they approached him and as elected representative he felt need to issue immediate instructions to the department to take up the matter on priority basis. While giving details of the present work he said that the works will be done under the supervision of UEED at an estimated cost of rupees 60 lakhs for the construction of 60 feet Nallah at Ward no. 24 near Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education, Rehari. He said that the areas through which this Nallah, causes difficulty to the local residents particularly in the rainy season and lots of problems occurred due to its non channelization.
He said after construction of the same, no problem will occur in the future and the residents of of this area and other adjoining wards will benefit a lot through this as proper structure will be given to the deep drain.

Sharma also stressed upon the locals to watch the quality of the pursued work and said that only BJP has ensured the proper development of the area. With the Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the helm of affairs, he said that BJP has taken the Nation on the path of progression while starting to put a full stop on all type of malpractices existent in the country. He also referred to a number of Centrally sponsored schemes and prompted the locals to take the benefit of the same.
