“On the behalf of Dev Bhoomi, Uttarakhand, the land of four Dhams, I bow and convey my heartiest greetings to the people of Jammu & Kashmir” quoted Trivendra Singh Rawat, Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, while addressing a mammoth rally of BJP leaders, activists and general public in presence of BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma, Speaker J&K Assembly Kavinder Gupta, MP Lok Sabha Jugal Kishore Sharma, MP Rajya Sabha Shamsher Singh Manhas, MLC Ashok Khajuria, Chief Whip & MLA Rajesh Gupta and MLAs Dr. Krishan Bhagat and Sukhnandan Chowdhary at Jammu in connection with the three year celebrations of good governance by Prime Minister Narendra Modi led NDA government at the Centre.
Trivendra singh Rawat, while addressing the rally, said that PM Modi led NDA has enjoyed the affection and support of countrymen right from the beginning to the completion of three years of good governance. He said that earlier the Nation witnessed the ill governance of Congress led UPA government for decades together, which was marred by the 366 scams in 365 days of a year. In the very first meeting of the government formation at the Centre, PM Modi gave clear instructions for transparent and corruption free administration at all levels, he added.
He further said that the PM Narendra Modi has fulfilled its pre-poll promises and India is on the path of regaining the status of Vishav-Guru in every sector, be it defence, research, economics etc. He said that, the Army is feeling self confident and upbeat since the take-over by present dispensation. Speaking on the extent of corruption in Congress regime, he said that the then PM, Rajiv Gandhi had to admit, that only 15 paisa reach to the target population out of 1 Rupee released from the Centre, but even then nothing was done to curb the practice, and in Modi regime, the practice of transferring the various benefits directly to the accounts of consumer, has overcome this flaw. While speaking on the schemes launched by the Central Government, he said that time frame has been set for each policy and till now 2 crore houses have been allotted to the houseless, 2.25 crore Gas connections have been given to BPL families, 40 thousand crore rupees deposited in the Jan Dhan Accounts, daily 24 kms of highways are being constructed and many more achievements have been in the list. PM Modi has devoted his entire three years to the welfare of Society and the Nation. He also spoke on GST, arise in GDP, Insurance schemes for farmers, welfare schemes for women, youth, weaker sections etc.
Sat Sharma, while addressing the rally, said that Trivendra Singh Rawat, who was a volunteer of RSS, remained three times MLA, Prabhari of various States, has developed the State of Uttrakhand in every sphere since he has taken over as the CM of the State. He said that due to the efforts of the great stalwarts of the BJP, the party has been able to pursue its agenda of development. While referring to the achievements of Modi Government, he particularly reffered to the success of Surgical Strikes and Demonetization. He said that the PM Modi has a vision for the year 2022, when India will be completing its 75 years of freedom, that every citizen of India will have the job with equalized earnings and self respect. He also appealed all to follow the appeal of PM Modi to work for “Jan Dhan, Jal Dhan and Van Dhan”.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, while addressing the rally, said that PM Modi has bailed India out of black times brought by the corrupt practices of Congress Government. Modi Government has given the priority for the development of the State that was not witnessed by the country in 60 years. He also mentioned about the achievement of solving the issue of OROP and said that every Army Personnel is now having the feel of valour and pride in their duty. He lauded the Modi government for its tough and decisive decisions in the interest of the country.
BJP leaders Rajni Sethi, Rajinder Sharma, Aseem Gupta, Veenu Khanna, Sanjeeta Dogra, Capt. Kasturi Lal, Hans Raj also addressed the rally.
