National Level Kabaddi Tournament to be organized at R.S Pura

R.S Pura. M.L.A from R.S Pura Constituency Dr. Gagan Bhagat today said a National level Four day �Kabaddi Tournament� will be organized at R.S Pura on the pattern of Pro-Kabaddi. Dr.Bhagat said that R.S Pura youths have tremendous potential , to capitalize and to further nurture this talent he has taken the initiative with the participation of Shaheed Sports Club, R.S Pura the said tournament will like the All India Pro Kabaddi tournament , and tentatively will begin from October 9th 2016 at the Kotli Shah Doula Maidan, R.S Pura More than 25 teams from Punjab,Haryana,Himachal Pradesh, New Delhi ,Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh ,Uttarakhand and Gujrat are expected to participate in the tournament. The winning team will receive a cash prize of Rs .50 Thousand while runners-up will get a cash prize of Rs 25 Thousand, and third place will get Rs.11 Thousand. There is no entry fee. The tournament will be inaugurated on October 9th 2016.V.V.I.P�s are expected to inaugurate the tournament will take part in the inauguration and valedictory function.Dr.Gagan Bhagat has informed that the said Kabaddi tournament was being held for the first time on such a large scale. He further said that in the preliminary round the matches will be organized amongst the villages of R.S Pura, and surrounding places so that a strong team which will include the most talented youths will represent R.S Pura in the National Level Kabbadi tournament, the said initiative was in his mind when as a common citizen and a sportsperson he used to feel that vacuum at R.S Pura, and he thought that elected representatives along with social organizations and prominent persons should come forward and should organize these type of tournaments, while addressing the mediapersons said Dr.Gagan Bhagat. The locals will get a chance to interact with the international players of the Kabaddi which will further create an atmosphere and more youths will look forward for their carrier in sports and this will also reduce their chance in Drug Abuse. Among others Natharam, Vinod Sharma ,Noubat Ram, Kundan Sharma ,Vikram Singh Labba ,Sushil Sharma, Raju,Abhishek Gupta,Inder Sudan,Hardev Singh,and others were present on the occasion.
