Nirmal Singh interacts with BJP activists

Deputy Chief Minister & BJP senior leader Dr. Nirmal Singh, during his visit to Ramban district, chaired a meeting of local leaders of BJP at Batote and took stock of the problems being faced by the common people besides apprising them about the people friendly programmes and policies of the BJP coalition government in Jammu & Kashmir. He also discussed various development projects and welfare schemes launched by the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre.

Dr. Nirmal Singh also sought the details related to the party’s ongoing political and organizational activities and stressed upon the party activists to be more vigil as the opposition parties have unleashed a false propaganda against the NDA and State’s coalition government as they cannot digest the growing popularity of these governments and making repeated attempts to mislead the people.

Dr. Nirmal Singh, while appreciating the historic decision on demonetization, said that it has reflected the resolve of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to root out corruption, black money and fake currency. This decision has witnessed rise in the popularity graph of Narendra Modi. He asked the party activists to spare time and help the bank customers in their respective areas so that they do not feel inconvenience while making transactions.

“The party activists should also reach the masses to educate them about more than 50   welfare schemes launched by the government at the Centre and in the state for the benefit of all the sections of the society and guide them in availing the advantages of the same”, Dr. Singh said added that these schemes will result in social and economic upliftment of the women, youth, farmers, ex-servicemen, senior citizens and others in the Indian society.  

Prominent among those who attended the meeting included Sr. Leader Sham Singh Katoch, Ramban District President Ramesh Sharma, Ramban MLA Neelam Langeh, District Incharge Rajeev Charak, and Veerji Saraf.
