Dhar Gadhian will be most developed village : Pawan
BJP State General Secretary Pawan Khajuria, while addressing a gathering of the inhabitants of Dhar Gadhian, said that their village has been adopted by the Union MoS & the local MP Dr. Jitendra Singh during the current year.
Congratulating these people of Dhar Gadhian, falling in Panchayat Pakhlai of Udhampur assembly constituency, Pawan Khajuria said that Narendra Modi led government at the Centre has directed every MP to adopt at least one village every year in their respective constituencies, to be developed on the modern pattern. He said that Dr. Jitendra Singh, being the Member of Parliament from Udhampur-Doda-Kathua constituency, opted to adopt Dhar Gadhian and has expressed his deep concern towards making this most backward and underdeveloped village as most developed one.
Pawan Khajuria said that Dhar Gadhian has hundred percent population of the Schedule Tribes, who are poor and do not have access to even basic amenities and source of earning for survival. He said that with the adoption of this village, the people should now feel happy that their days of poverty and sorrows will be over soon and each family in the village will enjoy all the facilities which are available to the model villages.
Khajuria, while discussing the modalities of initial task for undertaking the mega project of development, appealed the local people to cooperate the concerned agencies so that the work is completed in time and they enter a new era of development and prosperity.
The local people asked Pawan Khajuria to convey their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Jitendra Singh for taking keen interest towards developing their village.
Rakesh Gupta, Vikas Kongra, Jagdish Raj, Mohan Lal Drahi, Shamsher Singh, Hans Raj, Ludhermani, Baldev Singh, Mohar Singh, Roop Chand, Nand Lal, Sadhu Ram, Subash Atri, Chaman Lal and others accompanied Pawan Khajuria during his visit to the village.
