Priya Sethi holds Public Grievance Camp at Samba

The Minister of State for Education, Technical Education, Culture, Tourism, Horticulture, Floriculture and Parks, Priya Sethi today convened a public grievance camp at Samba Fort. She was accompanied by MLA Samba Devinder Kumar Manyal, DC Samba Sheetal Nanda, SSP Samba Joginder Singh and State BJP Vice President Mamta Singh. All District officers of Samba and general public attended the camp.
The Public put forth their grievances and demands like up gradation of border roads, water shortage, Shortage of staff in some govt schools and augmentation of power supply in border areas. The officers on the spot responded to queries and grievances raised by the public.
The MOS reiterated that the coalition govt is working in a fair and transparent manner for the development of the state. She stressed upon importance of public awareness regarding various govt schemes. She informed that under Swadesh Darshan, proposals are being made for developing Satwari-UtterBehani and Purmandal Circuit and various other development projects are in initiation phase. She highlighted the focus of govt on education sector with initiatives like Computer Aided Learning and adoption of Model Schools.She also informed that 03 culture centres shall be established at Leh, Srinagar and Jammu .Also, under PM special package Rs 75 crore DPR have been submitted for Utterbehani-Purmandal-Mansar Tourism circuit.She stressed upon successful implementation of Laadli Beti Scheme in view of low sex ratio in Samba District.
MLA Samba cited the improvement of power supply in Samba as one of the achievements of coalation govt.He informed that proposals for various border and link roads have been sent under various govt schemes for approval.
