BJP State Secretary Sanjay Baru, alongwith Jammu West District President Ayodhya Gupta, Mahila Morcha leader Neelam Nargotra, and Ward Convenor Dr. Pardeep Mohtra, visited Kabir Colony in Talab Tillo area of Jammu West Assembly constituency and got started the construction work of protection wall for main nallah flowing through it.
Sanjay Baru, while speaking on the occasion, said that the initiative of the local MLA & BJP State President Sat Sharma (C.A.) before the start of monsoon to get the nallah flowing through Kabir Colony cleaned by lifting of garbage through the concerned department prevented its over flowing and thereby stopped further damages to the local dwellings. He said the protection wall of this nallah had collapsed during the heavy rains followed by floods. As soon this happened, the MLA had take up the matter with the concerned departments to immediately erect new and sustainable protection walls on both banks of the nallah. He further said that it is the follow up of the same that the related work has been started today under the directions of Sat Sharma.
UEED Assistant Executive Engineer, Junior Engineer, BJP leaders Raj Kumar, Parveen Ghai, Yash Pal, Mulkh Raj, Krishan Lal and Rahul Nargotra were present on the occasion.
